Our client is seeking a Project Coordinator with the following experience.

The candidates must have  at least 2 years of experience with Project planning and execution. 
This is a great growth opportunity.

 Requirements:
Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel is required. Knowledge of MS Project and Access is a plus.
Ability to prioritize assigned work, as well as identify and set milestones.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems without delay and/or to seek managerial intervention and operate under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines.
Ability to work directly with customers to ensure successful completion of objectives.
Ability to coordinate small projects and keep them on time and on budget.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Minimum years of experience required: 1 (but education can be substituted for this).
Education - BS preferred. Associates Degree required.
  

Responsibilities:
  •  Provide project planning, scheduling, and reporting support to the project team, support during the Project Planning Phase including the development of Project Plans, Scope, and/or CAP.
  • Gather project plan details from the project management team and assemble into a project plan, develop and maintain the project staffing plans, actively working out issues in the plan, develop and maintain project reports as assigned such as weekly project status reports, resource planning reports, risk management reports, and other management reports as required.
  • Maintain project tracking logs such as actions, issues, minutes, anomalies, PSTs, problems, change, and risk, schedule and coordinate Meetings/Workshops for project team, develop Project Presentation Materials, communicate project management information between the Program Management Office, Program Director, Program Manager, Team Manager, and other Program Office Coordinators, and the project staff, as required. Assist the Project Manager by monitoring compliance to Program Management Office standards and procedures.
  • Also, assist the Project Manager by monitoring project budget and schedule, performs other duties as assigned.
