  • As a member of the engineering team you will be responsible for creating the firmware and development of software for our RF Thruster.
  • You will work closely with our Flight Systems, Software and Electrical engineers. Your work will be critical in contributing to our success, from design to production.
  • You will make critical firmware decisions and contributions that will determine our mission success in space.
  •  We are continuing to grow and add new missions so we're humbly searching for a few more expert men and women to join in our success.
Summary:
  • Mechanical Engineering on our electric propulsion RF Thruster and related systems.
  • Be a critical owner of materials selection and engineering using your metallurgy & manufacturing experience on new flight hardware design.
  • Engage with a fast-moving team where your contributions will be valued and critical to the success of our missions.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of relevant engineering experience including small satellite development.
  • Bachelor’s degree related to the fields of: Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials engineering.
  • Advanced experience on production design.
  • Advanced interdisciplinary design and analysis experience.
  • Applied and demonstrable CAD experience.
Desired Experience:
  • More than 2 years of relevant engineering experience including small satellite development.
  • Demonstrated work in a high volume and cost efficient environment.
  • Experience with test campaigns.
  • Intermediate competency with Solidworks.
  • Intermediate competency with finite element analysis software or mechanical simulation software.
  • Knowledge of fluid system engineering.
  • Knowledge of thermal management and analysis.
  • Aerospace flight design experience.
