Duration: 6 months plus contract
Level II: 3 years as a Business Analyst Level I or 4 years of experience in related areas.

Required/Preferred Skills and Abilities:
• BA experience with Agile Scrum methodology required.
• Proficiency with MS-Office applications: Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, etc, required.
• Experience writing functional requirements for integration services between back-end mainframe architecture and enterprise applications on a cloud platform desired.
• Business Analyst level understanding of data models, management structure and concepts, data warehouse, ETL layers, and SQL desired.
• Working knowledge of BABOK framework and/or CBAP certification desired.
• Business Analyst experience in the insurance or financial industry a plus.
• Familiarity using requirements tools such as Jama, TFS, JIRA, a plus.
• Other certifications such as PMP, BPM, Six Sigma, Lean, a plus.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Essential Job Functions:
• Facilitates and/or participates in scoping sessions to create project definition, high-level requirements, and product backlogs that are prioritized according to business value.
• Leads BPM (business process management) discussions with business partners to define current and future state workflows.
• Performs requirements planning activities by conducting stakeholder and system impact analysis.
• Elicits requirements from various stakeholders through various methods such as research, interviews, JAD workshops and other means.
• Analyzes requirements to determine business need and opportunities; works with project team to determine and recommend optimal solutions.
• Defines requirements using Agile methods such as Epics and User Stories. Also writes functional / non-functional requirements, business rules, and models as required.
• Reviews and validates requirements with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and strategy.
• Supports testing, quality assurance and user acceptance efforts to ensure delivered solution meets acceptance criteria.
• Supports change management and implementation efforts by working with teams responsible for user training, procedural documents, and user support.
