About the Job

Our fully hosted SMS platform is used by transit agencies across the United States to provide their riders with automated arrival information via text. We're looking for a high performing Account Manager to help us manage this growing client base. This new team member will use their engaging personality and product expertise to develop and maintain relationships with current and potential transit clients.  The ideal candidate is curious, enthusiastic, business-minded, enjoys helping organizations meet their goals and thrives in a high speed environment.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

  • Become the resident expert on how transit agencies use our SMS platform.
  • Develop and evolve transit SMS service implementation processes.
  • Maintain close relationships with our existing and potential transit clients and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Scope and prepare service agreements.
  • Track all things transit including maintaining detailed notes in our CRM, logging all interactions and client information.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Has previous sales and account management experience with a technical product for businesses or organizations.
  • Thrives in a high speed environment and can multitask among inbound calls, chats, emails, and other inquiries.
  • Enjoys talking to people, is professional, engaging, and credible, and can influence client decisions as a trusted advisor.
  • Is curious and inquisitive about technology and enjoys using and growing their technical skills and knowledge base.
  • Is proficient with basic computer and web navigation and is a fast typer.
  • Previous experience in a client-facing role with a project management or consultative focus and helping coordinate and sell technical solutions.
  • Previous experience creating and maintaining implementation procedures.
  • Previous experience in contract preparation and negotiation.

Bonus Points For:

  • BA or BS degree.
  • CRM experience (especially Salesforce).
