Well established law firm in the San Diego area is seeking an Executive Assistant who will report to the Firm Development Partner. Ideal candidate will support the implementation of the Firm’s key operations, initiatives, and programs, including internal education and leadership development programs. Successful candidates will respond to task requests from firm and team members in a timely and accurate manner and will follow up to ensure completion. 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, in no particular discipline
  • 5+ years of proven work experience as an Administrative or Executive Assistant
  • Experience as a civil litigation Legal Assistant or Paralegal preferred, but not required
  • Expected to gain competence in industry terminology and concepts to support essential job functions
  • Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive firm information
  • Proficiency in MS Suite (specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), LinkedIn, and office equipment
  • Strong scheduling and calendar management skills
  • Experience coordinating travel for individuals and groups
  • Full administrative support to Firm Development Partner
  • Manages Firm Development Partner’s calendar by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences and travel
  • Coordinate firmwide attorney recruiting efforts
  • Execute new attorney on-boarding process
  • Conserves Firm Development Partner’s time by performing research and analysis for key initiatives, drafting correspondence, collecting and analyzing information, and collaborating with various departments and branches across the firm
  • Plans, coordinates, and executes internal firm events for key initiatives such as attorney meetings and education programming, including technology, written materials, and refreshments
  • Attends firm meetings, prepares agendas, and takes minutes
  • Collaborates and strategizes with partnership and firm administration
  • Plans and manages attorney travel for various firm events
