Position Description: 

The Marketing Analyst supports the generation of the marketing forecast through data analysis and data maintenance.  This position performs market research identifying trends in competitors and current client sales. This role also works with team members and other departments to share information and supports collaborative marketing related projects.
 
Responsibilities:  
 
  1. Ensures all data spreadsheets are updated and accurate.
  2. Creates and utilizes different charts, tables, and figures to present information in a logical and effective way.
  3. Analyzes distribution trends, new items, out of stocks, and general data to identify patterns and extracts meaningful information that can be used to assist management in marketing and business decisions.
  4. Runs different mock scenarios through formula manipulation to test marketability and profitability of company products.
  5. Analyzes historical marketing figures to predict possible future sales.
  6. Assists with ROI and lift analysis.
  7. Works on costing to update formulas in FM from Atlas.
  8. Works with other departments to support forecasting and ordering process from customers, including the main business, international and private label.
  9. Oversees in-house coupon redemption and MAP program and trains new team members on how to manage these programs as needed.
  10. Researches the marketplace and competitive programs to understand sales trends, pricing, and key points of differentiation.
  11. Assists with running the campaign management and oversees the temporary price reduction programs of vendors. Also assists with evaluating online trafficking.
  12. Performs any other related duties, as may be required.
Job Requirements:
  • BA Degree
  • 2+ years relevant experience
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work with multiple departments and as a team
  • Must be proficient with Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Good written and verbal communication
