Litigation Attorney

Position Responsibilities

The Litigation Attorney will manage cases from litigation through resolution, including:

• Managing a significant personal injury caseload

• Drafting persuasive law and motion to maximize case value

• Handling all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and court appearances

• Taking and defending depositions

• Negotiating and finalizing settlements

• Drafting and reviewing demands, complaints, discovery, and meet-and-confer correspondence

• Communicating with clients regarding legal strategy, case progress, and treatment updates

• Analyzing facts and evidence to establish liability and identify insurance coverage

• Collaborating with team members to move cases efficiently toward resolution

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Active license and good standing with the California State Bar (Post-Bar candidates may be considered)

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school

• 2+ years of experience in Personal Injury or Employment litigation preferred

• Strong law and motion experience

• Experience handling cases through all phases of litigation

• Familiarity with CasePeer or other legal case management software

• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills

• Ability to supervise staff and provide guidance where appropriate

• Bilingual Spanish is a strong plus

• A team-oriented mindset and positive attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
